Privacy policy

Overview

Nebula Ventures Accounting (“the App”) is a private, internal application operated by Nebula Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). The App is used solely by Nebula Ventures LLC to access and manage its own accounting data in QuickBooks Online. It is not offered to the public, has no external end users, and connects only to QuickBooks company files owned or controlled by Nebula Ventures LLC.

Information we access

Through Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API, and only with the account owner’s authorization, the App accesses accounting records for the connected company, which may include the chart of accounts, bank and credit-card transactions, invoices, bills, vendors, customers, and financial reports.

The App does not collect information from any other individual or business.

How we use information

Accessed data is used only for Nebula Ventures LLC’s own bookkeeping — to categorize transactions, produce financial reports, and prepare internal tax estimates. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share accessed accounting data with any third party. Data is used only within Nebula Ventures LLC.

Data storage and security

Accessed data and OAuth credentials (access and refresh tokens) are stored locally on systems controlled by Nebula Ventures LLC, protected by operating-system access controls and file permissions. Credentials are never transmitted to or stored with any third party beyond Intuit’s own authorization endpoints.

Data retention

Accessed data is retained only as long as needed for bookkeeping and tax purposes, and may be deleted at any time. Authorization can be revoked at any time from the QuickBooks Online account settings, which immediately ends the App’s access.

Intuit

Access to QuickBooks Online data is also governed by Intuit’s Terms of Service and Intuit’s Privacy Statement.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
